Spotlight on Design & Imagination: A Vibrant Week of Creative Showcase

This week, the Surjan Super School students demonstrated their incredible creativity and architectural ingenuity through a series of compelling and colorful projects. Each model and installation brought bold ideas to life, showcasing a playful exploration of geometry, materials, and spatial storytelling.

Highlights of the Week:

  1. Floating Forests (Top Row, Image 1)

    • Students explored ecological narratives with modular structures raised on slender columns, featuring greenery seamlessly integrated with reflective and pastel surfaces. These models invoke the balance between urban density and nature.

  2. Blooming Facades (Top Row, Image 2)

    • Capturing springtime optimism, this design wraps a cube in pink and yellow floral patterns, bringing vibrant energy to urban environments.

  3. Hybrid Forms and Functionality (Top Row, Image 4-6)

    • Featuring multifunctional spaces wrapped in mirrored and wooden materials, these structures illustrate innovative takes on adaptive reuse and elevated living spaces.

  4. The Garden Above the City (Middle Row, Image 3)

    • Bridging sustainability and spectacle, this model proposes vertical forests supported by towering pink columns, redefining urban green spaces with elevated perspectives.

  5. Pneumatic Playgrounds (Bottom Row, Image 4)

    • Bright inflatable structures captivated imaginations, providing fun, lightweight, and interactive possibilities for public spaces.

  6. Architecture of Optimism (Bottom Row, Image 7)

    • Giant, colorful columns topped with flowers and inflatable textures became a favorite amongst visitors, transforming static designs into whimsical storytelling experiences.
